Dabangg2 smash Box office 2012

Salman Khan's latest film, "Dabangg 2" collected over 65 crore in the opening  weekend after making a wonderful opening on Friday, raking in 21.10 crore at the box office.

not yet Dabangg 2 held up very strongly on Monday as it collected around 12 crore nett. It is the highest non holiday Monday of all time beating the previous record holder which was the first Dabangg released in 2010. Dabangg had collected 10.75 crore nett on Monday.

The highest Monday till date is Ek Tha Tiger at 19 crore nett but that was on a holiday for Eid. The four day total for Dabangg 2 is over 70 crore nett and a big Tuesday is expected as it is holiday for Christmas. For comparison Ek Tha Tiger was 72 crore nett after four days.

The business from Wednesday onwards and second weekend which will tell where the film is going. Around 190 crore nett looks assured on a worst case scenario and time will tell how much higher it goes.

Well finally Kabir Khan has revealed that the short teaser of the most awaited movie of 2012 Ek tha Tiger is coming soon and reportedly according to Box Office India, the first official teaser of Ek tha Tiger will be released on 11 May, 2012 with Yash Raj's Next release Ishaqzaade. It will will be a short teaser of few seconds and also we have heard that One Minute Promo of Ek Tha Tiger will be out with Akshay Kumar's Rowdy Rathore on June 1.


The Official Full Trailer is set to be released with IIFA Awards 2012 in late June but nothing is confirmed.

Sanjay Dutt wants to play Chulbul Pandey role

As every one wants to associate with salman khan, there is a new buzz rose that most of bolly biggie wants to play Chulbul pandey role. No doubt Salman Khan's "Dabangg" Chulbul Pandey has become an iconic character. Sanjay Dutt, who has done the khaki role for "Department", says he would love to play a similar kind of role.

 

"I wish I could do Chulbul Pandey but this ('Department' role) is something different. 'Department' talks about police department. It is a real story with real characters. It is about two cops, while one works with values and principles, the other is completely opposite," Sanjay told reporters here Monday.

 

"It's a commercial movie but it has a meaning to it. I couldn't play Chulbul Pandey or Singham (Ajay Devgn's role in 'Singham') in it," he added.

But some of salman diehard said only Salman can do the chulbul role as per its standard rest no one can.

If sources are indicating true then we will get our new Munni in the terms of Bebo. As Arbaaz previously admited that ,we do have a song in Dabangg 2 but it is too premature to talk about it. We would like to call it a popular song rather than an item song. Once we have recorded the song then we can take a decision accordingly about it," Arbaaz told PTI.
